In the formal world, Danilo’s international career has taken him from Latin America to Canada, directing in the process some of the most important brands in the world. From positions as Accounts Director in multinationals like Ogilvy, JWT, Leo Burnett, Operations Director and General Director of BBDO Venezuela, Danilo coordinated and developed many projects for clients as Scotiabank International, Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games Bid Book, The Ontario Government, Pepsico International, Visa, Kraft, Xerox, Shell, Warner Lambert, Bayer, Daimler Chrysler, and many more.
Among his most recent experiences, being the group leader in BBDO Venezuela that supported the retaking the leadership in the carbonated soft drinks market in that country stands out.
In Canada, during three years, he directed the supporting team for Scotiabank International that handled brand communications of four lines of business operating in 26 countries in Latin America and The Caribbean. He was also responsible for supervising material production in Spanish. At the same time, he directly translated and edited the content of collateral marketing material.
Project leader of the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Bid Book. This book, prepared in four languages, was presented by the city of Toronto during the process of competing to be the host of the Pan-American Games Toronto 2015. Directly responsible for editing the Spanish version.
His vision takes him to found Thinking Latino, by identifying the need to create a platform for the promotion of the inexhaustible intellectual and professional Latin American talent, interacting in and with Canada, as well as the unlimited resources available in Latin America for the generation of business in the region.
